Master’s students:
Get $14,000 per year for 1–2 years (up to $28,000 total).
PhD students:
Get $18,000 per year for up to 4 years (up to $72,000 total).

Application Process for the University of Manitoba Scholarship
1. Apply for admission into a Master’s or PhD program at the University of Manitoba.
2. Reach out to your department or faculty to inquire about their UMGF application procedures and internal submission deadlines.
3. If your department selects you, they will recommend you to the Faculty of Graduate Studies (FGS).
4. The university (FGS) will then notify successful applicants by email with an official award letter.
