The University of Glasgow is one of the oldest and top leading UK universities. The University of Glasgow is offering a fully funded scholarship for students who want to start their undergraduate or postgraduate taught courses in September 2025 or 2026. This scholarship is for people who came to the UK for safety reasons and are having trouble getting into higher education. Every academic session, Glasgow university welcomes students from diverse backgrounds and offers many scholarships, like the Sanctuary Scholarship, to support them.
What the Scholarship Covers:
Full tuition fees for the entire study period
£5,000 each year to help with study costs
Free accommodation at the University (for those who can’t get public funds)
No IELTS is required

Who Can Apply for the University of Glasgow Sanctuary Scholarship?
You can apply if:
You have a confirmed offer (conditional or unconditional) to study full time at the University of Glasgow for 2025/26.
If you have:
Applied for asylum in the UK
Or have Refugee Status, Humanitarian Protection, or Discretionary Leave because of an asylum claim
How to Apply for the University of Glasgow Sanctuary Scholarship
1. Go to the scholarship website using the link below by clicking HERE
2. Only apply after you have received an offer to study at the University. If you apply without an offer, your scholarship application will not be accepted.
3. Deadline for all applications is Ist May. Late applications will not be accepted.
