Universitas Sebelas Maret Scholarship (UNS) in Indonesia is giving out fully funded scholarships for international students in Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD programs for 2026.

Whether you’re just finishing high school, already have a degree, or want to go for your PhD, this could be your big chance! This is an international scholarship meaning that anyone can apply expect indigenes of Indonesia. It covers everything from  tuition, monthly allowance, health insurance and language lessons. You also don’t need IELTS for this scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria for the Universitas Sebelas Maret Scholarship 

You’re good to go if you:

Are not an Indonesian citizen

You are not under 24 years (for undergrad only)

Don’t have refugee status or a criminal record

Can attend an online interview

Can show you have some financial support

Have all the needed documents (listed below)

 Required documents for the Universitas Sebelas Maret Scholarship 

Passport (with at least 18 months left)

Your school certificate + transcript

Health certificate

Recent passport photo

CV (they’ll give you a format)

Personal statement (they also give you a format)

Proof you can support yourself (template provided)

English certificate (or letter from your school if you studied in English)

Indonesian language certificate (optional but good)

Two recommendation letters (for Master/PhD only)

Research proposal (PhD only)

 Duration of the Universitas Sebelas Maret Scholarship

Bachelor’s Programme: 4 years

Master’s Programme: 2 years

PhD: 3 years

Please note that you need to keep your GPA up! (Minimum of 3.0 or 2.75 depending on your course)

2. Check available courses: http://uns.id/listofcourses

3. Go to the Indonesian Embassy in your country for a recommendation letter (take your passport and school docs)

4. Register online: https://uns.ac.id/en/admission/uns-s

5. Fill the form and upload all documents

6. Print your registration card

7. Wait for the admin review

8. If shortlisted:

Do an online interview

Take a computer test

Final interview with your department

9. If selected, boom! You’ll get your acceptance letter via email
