GREAT Scholarships
This is an important scholarship although it is limited to only students from 18 countries. The GREAT scholarship gives students from these countries financial support worth £10000 (ten thousand pounds) to study different postgraduate courses. These counties include Nigeria, India, Pakistan, China, Kenya, Thailand, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Ghana, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Egypt, Turkey, Vietnam, Nepal, Mexico, and Peru.

Chevening Scholarships
This scholarship is one of the most interesting because it offers full financial support. It covers programme fees, contains a monthly stipend, travel costs, visa fees other expenses. Making it one of the most prestigious scholarship programmes in the UK. Unlike the GREAT scholarship that is limited to just 18 countries, this scholarship is open to applicants from 160 countries.

Eligibility for the Chevening Scholarship
To be eligible for this scholarship you must come from a Chevening-eligible country and have least two years of work experience (can include internships and voluntary work).
In addition, interested applicants must hold an undergraduate degree equivalent to a UK upper second-class 2:1.

Commonwealth Scholarships
This is another type of UK scholarship provided to low and middle counties in the Commonwealth. With financial support and aid from the UK these students may not be able to afford studying in the UK but their country’s association to the UK gives them an opportunity to do so.
