This one is automatic. If you’re among the top 10 scorers in UTME as announced by JAMB, you get the scholarship straight from 100 level and continue receiving it till you graduate if your results stay solid.

What’s in It for you in MTN Scholarship 2025?

There will be a ₦300,000 yearly support for regular and UTME top-10 students.

₦200,000 yearly for blind students.

The money helps cover your school fees, textbooks, and general living expenses.

Do You Qualify?

Let’s break it down so it’s clear:

For Science and Tech Students (STS):

You must be in 300 level.

You should be studying a STEM course (e.g., Engineering, Biology, Computer Science, etc.).

If you’re in a university or college of education, your CGPA must be at least 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) or 3.5 (on a 5.0 scale).

If you’re in a polytechnic, you need:

A CGPA of 3.0 (Upper Credit) in your OND.

You must have gained admission into HND.

Direct Entry students: Same rule as above—Upper Credit in OND and you must now be in 300 level in a university.

For Blind Students (SBS):

You must be in 200 or 300 level.

You can be studying any course.

If you’re in a university or college of education: Minimum CGPA is 2.5.

If you’re in a polytechnic: Minimum CGPA is 2.0 in OND, and you must have moved into HND.

For the Top 10 UTME Students:

You must be officially listed by JAMB as one of the top 10 scorers. People in this category don’t need to apply, they’ll be contacted. The award continues from 100 level to graduation, as long as your grades remain strong.

How to Apply for the MTN Scholarship 2025

1. Go to the MTN Scholarship Portal
