Malaysian Technical Cooperation Programme (MTCP) Scholarship Summary 

Where? Malaysia

Who’s offering it? Public and some selected private universities in Malaysia

What’s it for? A full-time Master’s degree (coursework-based)

Who is eligible? Anyone under 45 from a developing country that’s part of the MTCP program.

What can you study? Any course, but they prefer certain key areas

What do you get? Everything is covered; school fees, monthly allowance, flight tickets, and more

How long is the program? It runs for 2 to 3 years, depending on the course you choose.

Deadline to apply? 13 June 2025

When does it start? September or October 2025

Be from a country that receives MTCP support

Be under 45 years old

You need a degree holder with at least a CGPA of 3.0 or Second Class Upper

Show proof of English skills:

IELTS score of 6.0 or

TOEFL iBT score of 60 or

Proof that you studied in English

Be healthy and submit a medical report

Must already be admitted into a Malaysian university for the September/October 2025 session.

Apply online from 12 May to 13 June 2025 through the official MTCP website.

Passport (at least 12 more months)

University transcripts and certificates

Explanation of your university’s grading system

Evidence of English language skills (such as TOEFL, IELTS, or a formal letter from your previous institution)
