FATE Scholarship Program 2025

The FATE Scholarship Program 2025 is an annual scholarship that provides help to well trained and bright students that want to study in a Nigerian university but can’t afford to do so. So if you are planning to start your undergraduate journey in the 2025-2026 academic year, this is a great opportunity for you.

The FATE Scholarship Program 2025 (FSP), an initiative by FATE Giving, is now open for applications. It offers full financial support throughout your four years of study, covering all your expenses.

Unlike other scholarships that are mainly for science orientated this one is for students who want to study any STEAM course that’s Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, or Mathematics in any accredited public university or tertiary institution in Nigeria.

Who can apply for the 2025 FATE Scholarship?

To be considered, you must:

Be a Nigerian citizen

Be a smart and hardworking student

You must be at least 21 years

You must also be doing a course in either Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, or Mathematics in any Federal University in Nigeria

Second stage: If you’re shortlisted, you’ll be contacted.

Third stage: Take part in the next stage of the application.

Fourth stage: If successful, you’ll be contacted again to proceed to the final stage

Final stage: Final selected applicants will be contacted.

To get this scholarship, you must:

Apply for a graduate research course at the University of Melbourne and meet the entry requirements, or

Already be studying a graduate research course at the University.

Both Australian and international students can apply.

Benefits of University of Melbourne Graduate Research Scholarship

Free tuition for up to 2 years (Master’s) or 4 years (PhD) with a living allowance of $38,500 per year.

Moving allowance: $2,000 if you’re coming from another part of Australia, or $3,000 if you’re coming from another country.

Free health insurance if you’re an international student and need a student visa.

If you want to apply for the University of Melbourne Graduate Research Scholarships ensure that you follow these procedures (step by step)

Apply for a Master’s or PhD research program at the University of Melbourne.
Please note that if you’re a new student and you apply for a graduate research course before the deadline, you’ll be automatically considered for the scholarship no need to apply separately!

After you submit your course application, you’ll get a notification within 10 working days showing that your scholarship application has been added to your record.
