Eligibility Criteria for the NNPC/Agip Scholarship
You must have finished your university degree with at least a Second Class Upper from a recognized Nigerian university.
You must already have admission into a university either in Nigeria or abroad for a one-year Master’s program in any of the approved courses.
You must not be older than 28 years by December 31st, 2025.
You must have completed your NYSC (National Youth Service).
If you’re applying for the overseas scholarship, you need to have a valid international passport that won’t expire before September 2026.
How Long will this Scholarship last?
This scholarship is for one year only, and it is fully funded. That means everything is covered including your school fees, accommodation, and living expenses. This applies for students in Nigeria or abroad.
Documents You Need to Apply for the NNPC/AGIP scholarship
Before you apply, make sure you have these documents ready
A recent passport photo (450 x 450 pixels, white background, not older than 6 months)
A provisional admission letter for your Master’s program for the 2024/2025 session must be for the course you’re applying with
Your university degree certificate
Your NYSC discharge certificate
A valid ID card like your driver’s license, voter’s card, or national ID
A valid international passport (only for those applying for the overseas scholarship) – it should be valid for at least 1 year from September 2024
Your birth certificate from your local government

How to Apply for the NNPC/Agip Scholarship

On the website, click on “Apply Now”.
Then click “Register Now” to create your account and verify your email.
Login with your email and password to start your application.
Fill in your details and upload all the required documents.
If you are applying for the overseas scholarship, you’re encouraged to also apply for the local one too.
Make sure the name on your application matches your documents. If it doesn’t, upload a sworn affidavit or name change certificate.
