NNPC OANDO Scholarship 2025/26 for Nigerian Undergraduate Students
Great news for students in Nigerian universities applications are now open for the 2025/26 NNPC OANDO National Joint Venture (JV) Scholarship! If you’re currently enrolled in a Nigerian tertiary institution, you may be eligible to receive an annual scholarship grant of ₦200,000. This financial support will cover you from the time you’re selected until your final year of study.

As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, the NNPC/NAOC/OANDO Joint Venture is calling on qualified Nigerian students to apply for the 2025/26 Tertiary Scholarship Scheme. The application window runs from March 27 to April 30, 2025 so be sure to apply before the deadline!

Who Can Apply for the NNPC OANDO Scholarship 2025
The NNPC OANDO Scholarship offers two award categories:
Host/Transit Communities Merit Award: This is strictly for students who are indigenes of OANDO’s host or transit communities.
National Merit Award: This is open to students who are not from host or transit communities.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the NNPC/NAOC/OANDO JV Scholarship, you must:
Be a full-time undergraduate student currently studying at a Nigerian university.
Be in 100 level and admitted during the 2024/2025 academic session.
Be a citizen of Nigeria.
Not be benefiting from any other scholarship offered by companies in the oil and gas industry.
Important things to Note about the NNPC OANDO Scholarship
If you’re already enjoying a similar scholarship, please don’t apply.
Dependents of staff from NAOC/NAE/AENR/NACPFA are not eligible.
If you’re applying for the Host Communities Merit Award, you must be from a host or transit community in Rivers, Bayelsa, Delta, or Imo State.
If you’re applying for the National Merit Award, you must be studying Engineering, Geology, Geosciences, or Agricultural Science.
Benefits
Selected students will receive ₦200,000 every year until they graduate, starting from the point of selection. That’s steady support throughout your university journey!
Required Documents for NNPC OANDO Scholarship 2025
Before you start your application, make sure you have clear, properly labeled copies of the following documents ready to upload:
A recent passport photograph (white background, taken within the last 3 months, 450px by 450px, not more than 200KB)
School ID Card
O’Level Certificate
Admission Letter
Birth Certificate
Proof of Local Government Area of Origin
JAMB Result
For Host Communities Merit Award applicants only:
Letter from your Community Paramount Ruler
Letter from your CDC Chairman

Please note these if you are uploading any documents
Each document you upload should be clearly named based on what it is. For example if it is your birth certificate then the document should be tittled birth certificate.pdf
Upload the correct document where required and avoid mixing them up because it could cost you the scholarship.
Make sure your email and phone number are valid and active for easy communication.

How to Apply for the NNPC OANDO Scholarship 2025
Follow these steps carefully to submit a successful application:
1. Visit the official scholarship website: https://candidate.scholastica.ng
2. On the top-right corner of the page, click “Apply Now.”
3. Click “Register Now” to create an account.
4. Go to your email inbox and activate your new account.
5. Log in and enter your personal details
You will need your National Identification Number (NIN), a brief statement on your educational background and other required info
6. Upload all the required scanned documents.
7. Make sure your name matches across all documents. If not, you should upload a sworn affidavit or name correction document.
8. View each document after uploading to ensure clarity and accuracy.
9. When uploading your photo, make sure that it has a white background.
10. Review your entire application thoroughly to avoid mistakes.
11. Click “Apply Now” to officially submit.
12. You’ll receive a confirmation email and SMS once your application is successful.
13. Go back to the portal, log in, and download your profile.
14. Take the printed profile to your Head of Department for signing.
15. Upload the signed copy. Please note that it will be used for verification.
