SHE Soars Scholarship
The SHE Soars Scholarship, sponsored by the Christopher Kolade Foundation is one that supports young women from public secondary schools in Nigeria who gain admission into public universities. It started in 2019, and it provides students (female) with ₦300,000 annually to cover tuition, books, and living expenses. It also connects these students with successful women in business and professional fields for mentorship. So far, sponsored students are doing courses like Medicine, Engineering, Law, Psychology, and more in 14 universities across Nigeria.
Eligibility Requirements for SHE Soars Scholarship 2025
To be considered for this, you must be a female who finished from a Nigerian public secondary school and have a verifiable proof that you’ve been admitted into a Nigerian public university or other tertiary institution. PS: This scholarship is only for females
You can also apply for the Japanese MEXT scholarship for both graduate and undergraduate students.
Benefits of Christopher Kolade Foundation SHE Soars Scholarship
The benefit you will receive when you are selected for this scholarship includes
₦300,000 financial support each year to cover your school fees, books, and basic living costs.
This support will continue every year until you finish your course, which is usually between 4 to 6 years depending on the course you’re offering.
