You can now apply for the 2025 Romanian Government ARICE Scholarship. The ARICE scholarship is sponsored by Agency for Investments and Foreign Trade (ARICE). It is for students from different countries who want to study in Romania for undergraduate and Postgraduate studies. The scholarship covers your tuition, accommodation, and living expenses so you don’t have to worry about the cost.
Why is this scholarship a good idea?

Romanian Government ARICE Scholarship Details
The Romanian Agency for Investments and Foreign Trade (ARICE) is offering 40 fully funded scholarships for international students who want to study in Romania starting in the 2025–2026 academic year.

Eligibility for the Romanian Government ARICE Scholarship 2025
To be eligible scholarship, you must:
Be a foreign citizen, preferably from outside Europe.
Have the necessary academic qualifications for a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program.
Be willing to take a preparatory Romanian language course (if you don’t already understand Romanian).
This scholarship is for everyone. This implies that all countries are eligible for this scholarship.

Completed Application Form
Letter of Recommendation
Academic certificates (high school, Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD – depending on what you’re applying for), translated into Romanian, English, or French
Academic transcripts, authenticated and translated
Statement confirming you haven’t received a Romanian government scholarship for the same level before
Birth certificate
Curriculum Vitae (CV)
Medical certificate
Photocopy of your ID card, with legal translation
Passport copy (it must be valid for at least 6 months from the start of the program).

How to Apply – Step-by-Step
1. Visit the scholarship announcement page (link provided by ARICE). CLICK HERE TO APPLY https://arice.gov.ro/1/burse-2025/
2. Under the “Short Presentation” tab, read the English version of the scholarship info.
3. Check the “Announcement”, “Selection Procedure”, and “Application File” tabs for more details.
4. Download the application form, fill it carefully.
5. Send your completed application form along with all required documents to this email: burse2025@arice.gov.ro
6. Wait for the results, which will be announced after July 2025.
7. The final selection will be approved by the Romanian Ministry of Education.
