Overview of the Eric Bleumink Scholarship
Each year the University of Groningen received thousands of applications to get the Eric Bleumink Talent Grant however only few are selected. The University of Groningen is a research university in Groningen, the City of Talent. The university has existed for over four hundred years with quality being a strong principle for years. The scholarship is sponsored by the Eric Bleumink Fellowship (EBF) which aims at making grants available for students from the least developed countries. This scholarship is for exceptional students who wish to obtain a Master’s degree but don’t have any financial support.
Countries Eligible for the Eric Bleumink
The scholarship is for students from these countries: Afghanistan, Angola, Bangladesh, Benin, Bhutan, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cambodia, Chad, Comoros, Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Gambia, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Haiti, Kiribati, Lesotho, Liberia, Madagascar, Mali, Mauritania, Mozambique, Myanmar, Nepal, Rwanda, Sao Tome and Principe, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Solomon Islands, Somalia, Tanzania, Togo, Tuvalu, Uganda, Vanuatu, Yemen, Timor-Leste, South Sudan, Central African Republic, Malawi, Zambia, Bolivia, Cape Verde, Congo, Ghana, Honduras, India, Korea, Dem. Eligibility
To be eligible for the Eric Bleumink scholarship you must have have received provisional or unconditional admission for a master programme before February.
You also need excellent academic performance, they must be confirmed by at least two letters of recommendation
You also need to have consistent excellent grades during your bachelor/undergraduate studies.
You will also need excellent English language proficiency. This is in accordance with the admission requirements.
Your presence will be needed for the whole period of the programme
Also have no means of financing the study in question
Application
Nomination will be done by the University of Groningen Admission Office with assistance from the admission board in different faculties. They will determine which applicants will get the grant from the Eric Bleumink Fellowship.
Please remember that only applicants who have received an unconditional offer for a master programme can be eligible. Also, all masters application must be completed by the before 1st of December.
